Each year at Thanksgiving we are giving an opportunity to appreciate and be thankful for our families, friends, loved ones, and stiff cocktails. Over the month of November, pinsky has a lot to be thankful for.
November kicked off with an amazing show in Jeff and Miketon’s home state, celebrating the births of many of our New Hampshire friends. Using the Timber Grille as place to play and drink, we had a damn good time playing the longest pinsky set to date. We played favorites from Two for the Road and Losing Touch, along side a cover of Weezer’s “Say it ain’t so,” and the theme song to “Full House.” Although tiring and maybe a missed note or beat, the show was by far one of the best we have to played. Even more so, it was so much fun to play in front of so many of our friends, families, and ladies.
After that show we got back to work writing and working on a few new songs, our documentary, and figuring out some of the next moves for pinsky. During this time we were given the opportunity to perform on Good Day Maine. Getting up extremely early and performing on a news program may not have been something that we had thought to add to our performance resume, but we had an amazing time and a delicious breakfast after. Jess Jess came with us and took some nice new band photos with the help of an unattended green screen. Those should be up for viewing soon along with our documentary within the nest few weeks.
Already pumped about the progress and good fortune pinsky had, we got some exciting news early last week. On the 11th of December we will be opening for Good Old War at Port City Music Hall in Portland. We played with them the last time they were in Portland at The Station (remember that place??) and had a lot of fun sharing the stage with those dudes.
AND if we didn't have enough to be thankful for we got to see A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas in 3D. Yeah it was awesome and we highly recommend it.
We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, we all did!
Cheers,
pinsky

What’s next for Pinsky?
Andre: We are working on figuring what the next release will be. We obviously are planning on putting out a new record but we want something in between. All of us enjoy vinyl so a 7? is something we have been thinking about. We’re also working on a DVD which will consist of a documentary, live footage, our music videos etc.
